Cool Pro Mechanical updated my entire Carrier HVAC system after the old system of nearly 20 years suddenly failed near the end of the 2024 cooling season. I had it replaced with another Carrier system since the prior one had been so reliable. I worked closely with the owner and his team earlier that year on a hugely extensive project to install a completely new HVAC system with no existing infrastructure in the school building for my church which had an incredibly tight time frame. Replaced leaky 16-year old AC unit with a more efficient Heat Source Pump that not only cools house in summer, but provides heat in winter. Couldn't be happier with CoolPro and the performance of the unit itself. It's been about 3 years since installation. House is frigid even during 100-degree heat wave in NY this week. During winter, I've been using a lot less oil too. For estimates, I had three contractors come. One contractor was scared off because of the sophistication needed for this type of system, the second contractor was a little indecisive and unsure of himself and what I needed. Office staff and technician, Brian, were all very professional even when I was cranky for being without AC. They looked up my unit without me having to ask and found that it was under warranty and saved me a lot of money. Unfortunately our AC broke on a friday night so we were without it all weekend during a heatwave but they were able to fix on Monday and now working great. They were able to come take a look on Saturday but could not get the parts needed till Monday. Hard to find a trustworthy company and I was very happy with them.

I am thrilled that I've finally found a responsive and kind HVAC contractor that does solid work. I requested dual air source heat pump replacements for my old gas system after the A/C condensers died. The request was a bit complex, as it required two full systems to be installed (one for upper, one for lower), and I wanted the outdoor units to be placed behind our detached garage. After completing some pre-requisite electrical works, Eric came by to discuss the job step-by-step. He was patient with my questions, and never spoke down to me. The office folks (especially Kim!) were helpful when I called/emailed questions about the quote and scheduling. When the replacement job began, Eric walked the crew through the entire process and layout, and gave each person clear directions. The crew worked incredibly hard over two days in scorching heat. Every one of the crew members had a great sense of humor and was very friendly, open for a little chat but kept moving all throughout. They were also very respectful of my home, taking care to make as few cuts as necessary into the drywall, cleaning up all of the dust and debris, and even picking up tiny shards of plastic and styrofoam from the new system packaging. I was very impressed with their work, as they seemed very fastidious and took pride in their job. Afterward, Eric walked me through the systems, ensured I understood how the new thermostat worked, and laid out all of the details for me on the warranty. When an issue with the older water output pipe (not their original install, but reusing the existing PVC) popped up, they sent out a wonderful maintenance mechanic to review what was up. He took personal responsibility for the fix, and was sorted in 45 minutes. Finally, in an older part of the house, we have a gas system that was replaced 5 years ago that... of course... decided to act up just after the new systems were installed. Kim was great in dispatching mechanics to come out to examine the older system (not their installation), and has been very helpful in directing our family with next steps. It's been over a month and I could not be happier with my new system, and love that I can call Cool Pro without any hesitation for servicing our home's systems.

Eric and the guys at CoolPro came as a recommendation from a friend of mine who had a whole home unit installed at his place. Eric came by for a consultation and we discussed doing new Central Air since the original unit from the 1970s long since expired. His quote beat out all the others by a mile and we ended up with a Bosch 20 Seer 3Ton Heat Pump/ AC unit. They yanked the old unit from the attic with no issues and had the new one installed with the outdoor heat exchanger done within an 8 hour work day. We haven't had the chance to run the AC yet but the heat pump side of it has worked flawless and helped assist my gas baseboard heat in keeping us warm during the colder months. The entire experience from beginning to end was wonderful. I called in the middle of June and they were the only company to respond to my inquiry. I had the system installed by mid July! They also got me everything I wanted within my budget. I got the special air filters, UV light and dual zones. They installed a heat pump which is also designed to off set my heating bill when it's above freezing. I did not know but it's much cheaper to move heat then make it, which is what a heat pump does. Anyway they were very clean during the install and took lots of time to show me how to operate the system especially being that it tied into my old heating system. There were a few odds and ends to be worked on and they did not accept final payment (about half the bill) till all work was completed. The system is wonderful, I should have purchased this much sooner! They are also very communicative, on time and operationally they are a well oiled machine. Can't recommend them enough.

I had my air conditioning unit installed last year by Cool Pro.. It is one of the best investments I ever made to my house in 47 years. I honestly don't know why I waited so long.. I think I was afraid to cause problems in my house and also the expense. Being on a fixed income it was a lot to consider doing this home improvement. My friend recommended Eric from Cool Pro to come to my home and give me an estimate which I did after two unbearable summers of extreme heat.
